Why use a postcard with a QR code for video?
By using a QR code, you make it easy for anybody to scan and watch the video without needing a login or password. Also, it makes it easier for the sender to track whether the recipient ever even watched the video, which can be helpful if the postcard is being used for any sort of marketing or customer outreach or lead generation.
How do you scan a QR code?
Although you can use a dedicated QR code app, these days most smartphones and tablets can scan a QR code automatically using just the regular camera app on the device. Just open the camera app and point it at the QR code and you should see a popup or prompt to follow the QR code link to the video postcard.
